School-Age Care

Lemay Child & Family Center provides before and after-school care for children in kindergarten through fifth grade.  Transportation is provided for children attending Hancock Elementary School.

The before and after school program includes breakfast and an after-school snack.  The teachers prepare weekly lesson plans that include games and activities to complement what children are learning in school.  Children are encouraged to do their homework and to read during the after school hours, too.

The Center also offers full-day programs for school-age children on snow days, school holidays, and teacher work-days.  And in the summer we offer a day camp program that includes field trips, service projects, guest speakers, and a summer reading program.

To help all families afford our programs, we offer a scholarship program that many families qualify for.  We also accept Missouri state childcare subsidies.  Please call the Center at 314-544-3338 for more information about current rates and scholarship availability.
