Parent/Family Support
We offer many ways for parents and other family members to be involved at the Center. We also provide some services specifically to support families and parents. We strive to make every family feel welcome and valued, and want to partner with parents in helping your children succeed!
Regular opportunities for parents to get involved include:
- Monthly family events such as curriculum night, art show, movie night, and a family potluck dinner
- Parents as Teachers visits with certified PAT educators
- Volunteering in your child’s classroom or on a field trip
- Parent-Teacher conferences
Other services available for parents include:
- On-site social worker to help connect families with other service providers during times of stress or crisis
- Computer lab
- GED tutoring and assistance with on-line GED registration
- Parent Resource Library
- Parent Café discussion groups with early childhood experts
- Assistance during the holidays
